Our Favorite Wedding Venue in Cabo Mexico – Flora Farms

We had the pleasure of planning the wedding of Social Media Influencer and It girl @itsemmakelley at what has quickly become one of our favorite venues to work at in San Jose del Cabo. It’s the stunning Flora Farms. If you’ve had the pleasure of going to Cabo before, you have probably heard of this place. But, if you haven’t, well then you need to take yourself a little trip and go check it out. It’s very important when planning a Destination Wedding to hire a Destination Wedding Planner.

About Flora Farms

From the accommodating wait staff, to the wedding personnel, to the delightful farm to table cuisine, to the beautiful farm like surroundings, this place has so much charm and character. As a Mexico Wedding Planner, we appreciate all that this venue has to offer. We guarantee you will love it. Make sure you try the Hibiscus Margarita, and don’t miss a visit to see the koi, the turtle pond, dogs, cats, chickens, and goats. It is truly a farm in every way, but with the class and sophistication of a luxury wedding venue.

The Experience 

If you are in love with being outside, this is definitely your place. All aspects of your wedding can be held under the stars. The ceremony takes place on the lawn facing the fields, and offers lush grass, greenery, foliage, and plants. You also get a really long walk to the altar. Cocktails are held on the patio under a sprawling tree that Instagram worth, and dinner and dancing are held on the lawn under the strings and strings of market lights. They also offer dancing in what they call “the barn”. (it is hardly like you would imagine) It is a really beautiful, open air brick structure that can double as a dancing spot, a lounge area, or a dessert station.

Food & Beverage 

Flora Farms handles all food and beverage rightfully so. They have a world class chef who grows most of his own ingredients. True farm to table style. We find their pricing to be extremely reasonable for what they are able to offer. And just because you are in Mexico doesn’t mean you have to serve up the traditional fare. They can do almost anything you would desire. But don’t miss out on offering whatever the fresh catch of the day is. If you want a wedding cake though, you do have to bring that in, however, they have lots of amazing desserts, sweets and late night options they can offer. A few of our FAVORITE highlights from Emma’s wedding:

• Instead of a Champagne toast, guests sat down to an UNO/DOS/TRES toast with Salt, Lime and Tequila on custom acrylic boards
• Custom Mexican Tiles were calligraphied with the guests names to direct them to their tables
• We had an authentic Beer Burro
• The Ceremony Arch was MAGNIFICENT! (we actually drew our vision out and our floral partner brought it to life)
• We loved the floral and candle design on the long dining tables. We incorporated some local fruits and vegetables into our table scapes.
• Menu cards were a burlap style material with a fringe tassel on the end
• We put Maracas on the ceremony chairs so guests could shake them when the Bride and Groom kissed at the end of the ceremony
• We served Churros as a late night snack
