This summer wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Tarrytown, New York, felt like something out of a dream. The place is already one of the Hudson Valley’s most popular wedding spots, and Table 6 brought real intention to every detail. We leaned into the natural beauty of the property, choosing fresh pinks and greens that looked right at home—soft, romantic, and perfect for the season.
You could spot subtle European touches everywhere, a nod to the bride’s time studying in Italy and the couple’s engagement in France. Long farm tables dressed in custom linens, flickering candles, and loose, garden-style flowers set the stage for Blue Hill’s famous farm-to-table dinner. The food and setting did most of the talking—no need to overdo it.
As the sun set, the energy just kept building. By 1:30 a.m., the dance floor was still packed. The whole night felt joyful, elegant, and somehow completely effortless.
This wedding meant a lot to us. Years ago, the bride and her parents had been guests at another wedding we planned at West Point. Being asked to help with her own wedding, and seeing our West Point couple again—this time as guests—brought everything full circle. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do and how much these connections matter.
