Planning a destination wedding in Abaco Bahamas is always a luxury, but this three-day celebration for PGA Tour golfer Akshay Bhatia and his beautiful bride Presleigh was truly unforgettable.
 
Surrounded by the crystal-clear waters and laid-back luxury of the Abaco Club, the couple welcomed 90 of their closest friends and family for an intimate wedding weekend filled with sunshine, laughter, lots of meaningful moments…and golf! 

We leaned into all the local details from the custom signature drinks to the food. You can’t have a Bahama wedding without conch, jerk chicken and peas and rice. But on the wedding night, guests were indulged with steak and lobster. The late-night party featured pizza, ice cream and the bride’s favorite food when she is at a golf tournament. A hot dog! 

One of the greatest gifts a planner can receive is trust, and this bride gave it wholeheartedly. Early in the planning process, she simply said she trusted me with the design, allowing us to bring the weekend to life in a way that felt effortless, intentional, and true to the setting. That level of confidence made the entire creative process incredibly special.
