Megan and Ryan got engaged in Italy and really wanted to get married there. But with new job transitions, a cross country move, and law school, they chose to host their wedding on the cliffs of Malibu. They stumbled upon Cypress Sea Cove on their venue scouting trip and fell in love. Although logistics to have a wedding in the City of Malibu are intense, and the venue only does 8 weddings a year, we made it happen. The California weather was good to us, as we didnt have a drop of rain and 100% of the wedding was being held outside with no back up plan. The Organic and Natural Italian vibes were strewn throughout the event from the time the guests got off the shuttles. Our favorite detail was the custom seating chart made of linen, wood, ribbon and baby’s breath.
