Ensure THAT YOUR WEDDING IS THE WEDDING OF YOUR DREAMS

Whether you’ve just gotten engaged, you’re part way through planning your wedding, or you’re simply thinking about your future wedding – you want to make sure that you get this right. Nobody wants their wedding to be a day that they don’t love, and they certainly don’t want it to be a disaster which is why you need to take great care when you’re planning it. 

Planning the wedding of your dreams is going to take time, and that’s okay. Too many people try to rush through for one reason or another, but you don’t need to do this, you’re not really in any hurry, and it’s better to get this right than regret it.

But, it’s also about doing the same for someone else. 

If you don’t feel this way about your partner, then this is not the person that you should marry. What’s the point of marrying someone when you know they are not right for you, with the understanding that this isn’t going to last forever? It’s just best to avoid it, and find the person you actually want to marry, as this is what will make the day more perfect than anything else. 

Where Do You Want To Get Married? 

We also strongly urge you to consider where you want to get married. Do you want to have a destination wedding, or are you happy to have your wedding at home? We will tell you now that trying to plan a destination wedding is a lot more difficult and it takes a lot more coordination, but if it’s something that you’ve got your heart set on then it’s worth all of the effort that it takes. 

Think about where you would like to be married, whether you want to be indoors or outdoors, whether there is a specific venue that you have in mind, and all different elements like this. If you already know where you want to be, then you need to start looking at how you can make this happen, what dates are available, and more information like this.

Be Careful With The Guest List 

Another element is the guest list. It’s imperative that you get the guest list right because these are the people who are going to celebrate one of the best days of your life right there with you. If you select the wrong people, then you are going to be worried all day that something is going to go wrong and your day is going to be ruined – and you do not need that on your wedding day. 

You want to invite people that are happy for you, that want to celebrate with you. You don’t want to invite people that you are worried are going to cause a scene, kick off, or start fights at your wedding. We know that some people feel bound by tradition to invite certain guests, but we promise that you do not have to if you do not want to. There is no need for you to do anything you don’t want to do, it’s your day.

Pick The Perfect Dress

Next up, we’re going to talk about picking the perfect dress. We know that you are only ever going to wear this dress for one day in your life, but you deserve to feel like the princess that you are on your special day. If you’re worried about overspending, then you’re going to need to set yourself a budget so that you don’t go overboard, but make sure that it’s reasonable. You don’t want to restrict yourself too much because you never know what you’re going to come across. 

When you’re picking your wedding dress, try on a load of different styles, even ones you think  you might not like. The reason we say this is because dresses look different on people than on the mannequin and as such, you should give them all a try. When you find the one, make sure you get it.

The Bridal Party/Groomsmen

It’s also important to consider who you’re going to choose for your bridal party and your  groomsmen. These are the people that you trust more than anyone else, as they are the ones who have access to everything. They are there to help plan your day when you need them, they are there to support you through the process, and they are the ones up there with you when you get married. 

These are supposed to be some of the most important people in your life – family members, friends, and those that you feel have supported you and been there for you. They will be there for you from the beginning of your special day to the end, and there’s nothing more special than this, so pick wisely.
