Madeleine and Ethan met through mutual friends. Both grew up in areas of Texas and come from a long line of dentists. Madeleine’s parents split their time between Dallas and Vail, CO. The couple knew they wanted to get married in the summer, so to them, Texas was out. Colorado became the natural choice with their personal ties to the mountains. Madeleine’s mom really wanted them to get married at the Broadmoor, but the couple really wanted something with more of a mountain feel, so they chose the beautiful Camp Hale. When we met with the parents of the bride, they were already dead set on a few vendors they wanted to bring in from Dallas. Because of this, and the natural progression that the design aesthetic took, we joked that we were bringing the Dallas Country Club to Camp Hale. Our favorite detail was the custom white leather cuff place cards wrapped around the lace napkins.
