Michelle and John attended the same college in California but didn’t know each other until they met in Spain on a study abroad trip. Their love story grew quick and they dated through college and long distance for a few years while Michelle finished out her stint as a news anchor in DC. They knew they wanted to have their wedding in the groom’s parents’ 2nd home that was built for charity events. It was no small feat. The pool had to be covered in plexi glass to host the ceremony, then tented, and all of the furniture throughout this 30,000 square foot home had to be removed. The two week long set up was nothing short of stunning. Our favorite detail was the servers dressed in tuxedos holding silver trays with each guest’s escort card.
