Table Talk: Bridal Trends

“What is your favorite bridal trend right now?”

Headshot JackieOne of the hottest trends seen on the runway during New York’s 2014 Bridal Market was color! If I was a bride I would definitely be in a blush pink wedding gown this year. The softness of the color is romantic and looks great on just about everyone. Besides, what girly-girl doesn’t love pink??

Shannon-HeadshotI love the different hairstyles that are popular right now, whether brides are pulling their hair up or styling it down. These 2 looks are very simple and really accentuate the brides face.

Headshot SleeperI have always loved the flower crown for a boho chic bride!

Heather HeadshotMy favorite bridal trend right now is wearing lace on the sleeves. Kate Middleton did it well in her elegant wedding to William, and designers have taken note of the continuous love for her classic wedding dress. Monique Lhuillier and Marchesa are my two favorites.

Headshot StephensonFor a shoot we were trying to figure out whether we should feature a floral wreath or a tiara for the bride. I decided to do both and the results were gor.ge.ous. I had the florist create a floral wreath that was affixed to ribbons, which I then laced under the tiara. I think what made this work so well was the height of the tiara and it’s floral composition, they blended with the real flowers beautifully.
