Real Wedding: Sara and Pat

Today we have a sweet sweet wedding for you, with a couple filled with love for each other. Sara and Pat’s wedding was filled with devotion and celebration for each other and it all started when they met on the Marshall Islands. Because of the beauty, brightness and simplicity of the islands, Sara wanted to bring that to her wedding as well. With the natural beauty and brightness of City Park’s gardens, ponds and pavilion, it was the prefect place for them to get married in Colorado. We brought the natural feeling to the space with burlap, wheat and lace and brought the bright colors in with brightly colored signs wrapped in colored twine like oranges and turquoise. The potted geraniums  in wooden boxes that Sara and Pat built together and her aunt potted were one of our favorite touches because it was a labor of love from everyone. Not to mention the big labor of love the close friends of the Marshall islands put together by hand making bright colored flowers to give to everyone as favors.  With a bride arrival on a surrey, poloroid guest book, Larimer square lighting above the guest tables, a first scoop with ice cream instead of cake, and margaritas in mason jars as the signature drink, the night ended with a huge dance party out on the patio. Some guests even wore their  ties on their head! It was truly an electrifying night to remember!
