Drinks with Flair

We always think it is a great idea to have a drink station. It is something nice for your guests to enjoy before seeing you come down the aisle. It also really comes in handy at cocktail hour for guests that are not drinking anything at the bar. That way they don’t have to wait in line, which no one wants to do. It sometimes even gets people to drink less from the bar because they see the drink station first and since they already have a drink from there, they figure they don’t need to go to the bar to get another one. It is also extremely helpful at the end of the night because everyone has a chance to get water before they head home or a chance to pace themselves throughout the night.  We love jazzing up the drink station too. You can do so much to make it more creative than just a jug of water and some glasses. Having them served in elegant containers for a formal wedding or a fun one for a more laid back wedding can really add to the feel of the whole cocktail hour and reception. Flowers can also be wrapped around the containers to make the station look even more fabulous. It is also really cute to have special glasses for guests  to drink out of that correlate with the theme like mason jars or goblets. We also like spicing up the drinks as well. Water with lemons and limes or strawberries looks and tastes so much more sophisticated and appealing than just plain water. You can also do lemonade or Kool-aid  and have the color match your wedding colors or for a fall or winter wedding have an apple cider bar. There are so many choices and trust us, you guests will love going back to it again and again. Enjoy!
