Fave Vendors - Week of 5/14/07
posted by table6 in UncategorizedGreen Weddings…who knew? If you watch Days of our lives, you would know that this seems to be a new trend. Apparently, Sammy had a "Green" wedding when she married Lucas. Can I just say - FINALLY they got married. Anyway, organic and locally grown foods, recycled papers, and "Green" products seem to be hitting the scene. Girls are even considering dresses made from Hemp (mayeb only in Boulder, CO) Anyway, one of our vendors who seems to have caught on to this trend quite well is Tasha Rae with Tasha Rae Designs.
On her website, you can find all types of "printable" items that can be used for menus, programs, place cards, etc. And they are all considered to be "Green", "Earth and Eco-Friendly". Way to go Tasha!
We would also like to recognize some of the great DJ’s we work with. DJ’s truly have a bad rap with brides and SO MANY of them worry about getting the quintessential "Cheesy" DJ…and we don’t blame them. Although there are still some of those left, the DJ’s we work with are courteous, dependable, fun, yet conservative and we appreciate their professionalism at all of our events. In addition, they have started expanding into booking entertainment bands, specialty uplighting and gobo lighting, etc which makes our jobs easier because we can depend on one person for all of these popular items. We know they would agree that they enjoy working with us as well! We think that goes for all of our vendors…just ask them!
